Can panels be perforated?

Yes. We can help with design and costing.

Phenolic facade panels can absolutely be perforated to create a wide range of designs and patterns. In fact, perforations can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facade by introducing interesting textures and visual effects. However, it is crucial to ensure that the structural integrity and weatherproofing properties of the facade are not compromised when incorporating perforations. With proper precautions and expert handling, the perforated phenolic facade panels can add both functionality and style to any building project.

Guidelines

The minimum distance between the perforation holes should be at least the hole diameter.

Budget pricing.

Perforations fabrication costs vary by size.

1/4 to 1/2 Holes $0.25 per hole

1"-2" hole $0.5 per hole

Best practice: We find that 12-16 holes per square foot is the best cost/benefit ratio for perforating phenolic. Please see perforation pattern examples here.
